Hearing God at Christmas – Isiah 9:1-7; November 27, 2022

1. How has God been working in your life/using you this week or
what did he say to you during the message today?

2. What are you most looking forward to during this Christmas
Season?

3. React to the Dallas Willard Quote – “Our failure to hear God’s
voice when we want to is due to the fact that we do not in general
want to hear it, that we want it only when we think we need it.”

4. Isaiah wrote the People walking in Darkness have seen a Great
Light! Who do you think he was talking about? How does that
speak to us today?

5. Listen to Isiah 9:2-7…..What is these verses speaks to what God is
going to do and what in these verses speaks to what we must do?
(What is God’s part and what is our part)

6. Even though his words 700 years before Jesus’ birth in what is
now the Jewish scriptures; why do you think many of our Jewish
friends have a difficult time hearing thee words of the prophet as
they pertain to Christ?

Daniel – Chapter 12:1-6 – November 13, 2022

3. In these 6 verses do you think God is having Daniel write about a
   time future to us, just future to him. Why do you say this?
4. In verse three we read “Those who are wise will shine as bright as
   the sky….” What do you think is meant by “wise” here?
5. What do you think is the difference between Wise in verse three
   and Knowledge in verse 4?
