Book of Genesis – June 16th

Questions for June 16 th :

  1. What has God been teaching you this week?
  2. What questions do you have from the text or message today?
  3. In Genesis 26:2-3 God gives Issac some direction, why do you think he gave this
    to Issac, why did he not give it to Abraham?
  4. God told Issac that His Father did everything required of him? Would you think
    this is true? What does this statement teach us about God?
  5. Issac did the same thing as his Father, lied saying his wife was his sister is this
    coincidence? Is something else going on here?  
  6. In both cases Abraham and Issac were “blessed” after lying. What is that all about?
  7. The people saw “clearly that the Lord was with Issac” what were they seeing and
    how does this happen in our lives?
