Last Lessons – Week 3 – March 19, 2023
1. How has God spoken to you, used you or what did he share with you during
the message today?
2. In Today’s Scripture Jesus taught with a parable. In Matthew 13 Jesus
disciples ask him why he teaches in parables…. He responds:  
 “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to
you, but not to them.  12  Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an
abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from
them.  13  This is why I speak to them in parables:
“Though seeing, they do not see;
    though hearing, they do not hear or understand.”
What does this mean?
3. What would you say is the single message Jesus is trying to deliver here in
Matthew 22’s parable?
4. Vs. 10 Says, “And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom
they found, both bad and good. So, the wedding hall was filled with guests.”
What is Jesus trying to teach us here?
5. How do you understand the situation described with the man with out a wedding
garment? What is Jesus trying to explain?
6. What is meant by “many are called but few are chosen.”
7. How can we be praying for you this week.

1. How has God spoken to you, used you or what did he share with you during
the message today?
2. What are the Habits, characteristics and signs of a Fruitful follower of
Christ?
3. Why do you think Jesus went to Bethany, (Where Mary, Martha and
Lazarus lived) a 40 min walk from Jerusalem for the evening when he was
just coming back in the morning? What might we learn from this choice?
4. How would you describe the difference between religious activity and
Spiritual Fruit?
5. Does Religious activity ever lead to spiritual fruit, why do you say this?
6. What are your thoughts about the Fruit of Religious business vs the Fruit
of God’s Spirit?
7. How can we be praying for you this week.

Last Lessons of Jesus – March 5

  1.  what has God been teaching you this week? How has he used you? What did he impress on you with todays message?
  2. Was Jesus angry in the Temple? Is there ever a time we should display this type of anger?
  3. Think what it would’ve been like for a family who was raising an animal, knowing that it was the animal that would be sacrificed for their sins. What kind of attention would be given to this animal? Is there any similar experience in our giving or sacrifices?
  4. In first Corinthians three, verse 17 Paul says if anyone destroys gods temple, God will destroy him. What does this mean to you?
  5. What might Jesus clear out of your temple that keeps it from being a house of prayer?
  6. The blind and lame felt safe enough to just follow Jesus into the temple. What was it about Jesus that made them feel safe? How can we make those who feel outcast by the church? Feel safe?
  7. How can we be praying for you this week?

Humility – Feb 26

Humility – Week #4 – Micah 6:1-8
1. What has God taught you this week? Where have you seen him working and/or what did you
glean from the message today?
2. If you were going to defend some of the people on this call in court about their walk with God,
What is the case you would make for them?
3. When things go “wrong” in a persons life many are quick to blame God; is this because people
have a wrong view of God or another reason?
4. God seems to tell the children of Israel that he is not interested in their burnt offerings; What do
we offer God that he may not be interested in?
5. Justice, Mercy and walking in humility, which do you struggle with the most and why?
6. What is you biggest take away about Humility from this series>
7. How might we be lifting you up in prayer this week?

Humility – Feb 19

1. What has God taught you this week? Where have you seen him working and/or what did you

glean from the message today?

2. When has stubbornness reared it’s head most in your life?

3. Jesus is at the Pharisees house and asks the man if it is legal to heal on the Sabbath or not….Why

do you think they remained silent?

4. What part does Humility play in coming to Christ? What part does it play in Following Christ?

5. Jesus said do not take the place of honor….with those thoughts in mind is it easier for a believer

to make a difference as a leader (person with a position) or a follower.
