  1. Where have you seen God working this week? How has he used you in his plan?
  2. What questions come up from the scripture or teaching today?
  3. Thinking through the hardness of Pharaoh’s heart, do you think God still hardens hearts
    today? what does this mean for our interaction with people? has your heart ever been
    hardened what has caused that?
  4. What is God teaching his people and Egypt with the plague of the locust?
  5. In leadership, how do you know the difference between when to listen to the people
    around you and when the people around you might be a distraction to what God wants
    you to do?
  6. How can we make sure that we are following God’s plan completely instead of reworking
    the plan in a way that we are comfortable with following?

  1. What has God been teaching you this week? Where have you seen his hand at work?
  2. What questions were you left with from the teaching and the text this morning?
  3. What does Exodus 9:12 teach us about God’s sovereignty and our responsibility? (i.e.
    was pharaoh, responsible for refusing to listen to Moses since God hardened his heart?)
  4. What is the significance of the plague of boils, and how does it differ from the previous
    plagues?
  5. What does Pharaoh’s temporary concessions and subsequent relapses reveal? Have you
    ever seen anything like this? Have you struggled with this type of thing?
  6. How does the Israelites experience in Egypt, including the plagues prepare them for their
    journey in the wilderness?
  7. How can we be praying for you this week?

Questions for March 9 th :

  1. How has God been working around you this week and what opportunities has he given you to join him?
  2. What questions came up from the text or the teaching this morning?
  3. What did God mean when he said I have made you like God to Pharaoh? Was this just something for Moses or
    does God do this in our lives today?
  4. God said he would harden Pharaoh’s heart. Why would he do this? Does he harden people’s hearts today? For
    what reason? And if God does harden hearts, how are we to react to a hardened heart?
  5. Pharaoh always held the staff to symbolize his power. What do you think was going through his mind when
    Moses showed up with a staff?
  6. Why did God choose to use plagues in Egypt? What was he trying to do? Why do you think God chose
    something that magicians could replicate?

Exodus 6 – February 23, 2025

  1. How have you seen God working this week and how has he used you?
  2. What Questions arose from your reading of the text and or the teaching today?
  3. In verse one God tells Moses what he is going to do. Do you think Moses believed
    him or not? Did this affect the way that Moses acted? Why do you think
    that……Second part of the question does this kind of thing ever happen to you; where
    God tells you what he is going to do?  What do we do with this information? Does it
    affect the way we live?
  4. In verse two God tells Moses he appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but I did not
    make myself fully know to them. What does that mean to you? Why would God not
    make himself fully know?
  5. What was Moses trying to say to God by stated he had Faltering Lips – verse 12?
  6. Looking back what are your biggest takeaways in the first 6 chapters? Do any of
    these affect the way you live your life?
