January 12 – Teaching

January 12, 2020 – Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)

1.  What did God stir in you as you watched the Video today?

2.  How would you explain the “Good News” to someone?  What did you grow up believing was your job, as a Christian, to be in sharing this message?

3. Where did the “Sinners Prayer” begin? Take some time and search the internet to see what you can find?  Would you say this is a Biblical Prayer or manmade? Why?

4. Jesus called people to live Radically different lives.  The woman caught in Adultery; the Rich Young Ruler are a couple examples.  As people look at our lives today, what might they say is Radically Different about us as Christ Followers?

5. Matthew 28:18-20 is referred to as the great commission. Jesus calls us to go and make disciples, what does that mean and look like to you?

6. Scott mentioned Baptizing people in the character of God, how do you understand this concept?

7. Share something with the group they can pray for this week and share in a time of prayer before you leave today.
