Questions for May 10th:
- What questions are you wrestling with from the scripture and message this morning?
- Scott started the message today with a review from the beginning of Genesis until where we are now. Most of us have probably never read through the scripture this way. Share with the group some things that have stood out to you from our journey so far from Genesis one to Leviticus 20.
- Moses has led through constant tension and complaint. In dealing with this complaint what did Moses do? That was healthy? Unhealthy? What could’ve he have done differently? How do you emotionally regulate in the face of constant tension and complaining?
- In Exodus 17 God said to strike the rock in numbers 20 he says to speak to the rock. Why do you think he changed the direction? What does this teach us about God?
- Where do you see yourself in the story: the frustrated leader, the desperate community, or the silent observer?
- Is the wilderness meant to expose weakness or create dependence, or something else? What examples could you give of this from your life?
- How can we be praying for YOU this week?
